Would like to be a journalist in the next life: Amitabh

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan said that he would like to become a journalist in his next life.

"It is not possible in this life, but in my next life I would like to become a journalist," said Bachchan, who is currently shooting for Prakash Jha's film, Aarakshan (reservations) in Bhopal.

When asked what he thought of reservations per se, the 68-year-old actor said he simply mouths the lines provided by the director, and didn't have any personal opinion on the issue.

Praising Bhopal, which happens to be his 'sasural' (in-laws' place), he said that people here were very nice and cooperative.

Director Jha said the film was an effort to show how reservations benefit the weaker sections of the society.

Deepika Padukone flies down from Bhopal to attend Imran's wedding reception

Kareena Kapoor showed up solo for Imran Khan's reception hosted on Saturday evening by his uncle Aamir Khan. Saif Ali Khan was shooting in far away Bhopal for Prakash Jha's Aarakshan. He could not attend the party. But Deepika Padukone who was also shooting in Bhopal with Saif couldn't be kept away from the big evening. Not when Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao had personally called her to invite her.

Apparently, Deepika flew into Mumbai from Bhopal by a chartered plane and flew right back. She was shooting in Bhopal till 8 pm. She caught the flight an hour later and headed straight for the Taj Lands End in Mumbai. After partying with Aamir and Imran till the wee hours, she headed straight back to Bhopal early in the morning, catching a few snoozes on flight. She headed to location sharp on the dot for the morning shift on Sunday in Bhopal.

Jha confirms on Sunday morning, "Yes, Deepika went for the party on Saturday evening. But she's now back shooting with me here."

However, Jha denies that a flight was chartered from Bhopal for her rush visit. "There are four commercial flights between Bhopal and Mumbai every day. Why would we charter a flight?"

Apparently, Prakash Jha was very clear on the fact that Deepika could leave location in Bhopal for the party in Mumbai as long as she was back in time in the morning.

Katrina Kaif says, I'm calm, I-T men just doing their job

It seems Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif wants to 'just chill' and not read much into the tax raids in her house.

Here in the capital for a promotional event, the actress faced a lot of questions on the raids but she preferred to stay calm about the whole thing.

"I think the I-T department officials were only doing their job. I have the highest regard for them. An article today says that I have been given a clean chit, so I am happy."

"I think its ok... it's fine. Everyone is just doing their job. I am very calm about the whole thing," 26-year-old Kaif said.

Her house was raided by Income Tax officials last week along with Priyanka Chopra's and celebrity photographer Atul Kasbekar's.

Kaif, who will be seen next in Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara scheduled for release on May 27, launched Next Stop Bollywood, a dance competition by Ethihad Airways, of which she is the brand ambassador.

The actress, who shed her glam looks for a serious role in Prakash Jha's Raajneeti, says she will be playing diverse roles in her forthcoming movies.
