A decadent seduction: Vogue Paris + Daria Werbowy...breathless!

Okay. Now I am breathless...French Vogue is by far my favourite for many reasons. One of them is that it doesn't seem just like a fashion magazine for me...it's more than that. French Vogue is all about relating fashion with art. It's an ambitious magazine. The editorials are irreverent. It's not a magazine focused only on the commercial side, but also on artistic side.

So going back to why I was breathless...I opened the May 2010 issue and fell in love with an amazing editorial titled after the duet La Decadanse styled by Carine Roitfeld .

With their inimitable brand of seductive French pop, Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin were a memorable pair. They may not have lasted but their songs did.

Check below the gorgeous Daria Werbowy and Francesco Vezzoli getting amorous in an updated take on Francis Giacobetti's famous photo series of the couple. And for the full effect of the shoot listen the Gainsbourg & Birkin song too.

Another example of the once-popular raw style of nudity and sexuality happening in fashion magazines taking a more sensual turn...
