Maricar Reyes attends Richard Poon's concert for the first time

In the concert of the Big Bang Crooner Richard Poon in Cagayan de Oro (CDO) last night, Maricar Reyes was one of the audience. It was her first time to witness the Standards singer perform live on stage. Richard Poon even dedicated a love song to his love interest who happens to have CDO as her home city.

It has been reported that Richard Poon has been courting the beautiful Imortal cast. He has been trying to pursue her to become her girlfriend and 'hopefully' his wife (Please refer to this Noypistuff post: Maricar Reyes, the apple of Richard Poon's Chinito eyes). There has been no reports though that they are already a couple but with Maricar attending Richard's concert, this is some good sign.

Meanwhile, comedienne Pokwang and Pilipinas Got Talent finalist Markki Stroem were guest performers during last night's show of Richard Poon. Markki ad-libbed during a technical problem that they are off to try white water rafting in the city today.

The Jazz singer Richard Poon's lovelife is starting to get colorful as he admits dating model turned actress Maricar Reyes. In a Bandera interview, "The Crooner" said,

"Yes, I am currently working on a beautiful friendship with Maricar. I am seriously pursuing her. I don't deny that because there are many things that people may not know about the real Maricar Reyes. Napakasayang kasama, masarap kausap, you can talk about anything under the sun with her. Very intelligent girl and truly self-made. And what a beauty! For me, I can say that she is the most beautiful woman sa buhay ko. And hopefully, sana maging kami."

When asked about how the Maricar Reyes-Hayden Kho Scandal affects him courting the actress, Richard replied,

"We don't talk about her past. I don't even want to think about it. Ang mahalaga para sa amin ang ngayon. Of course, it wasn't easy for her. I am here to protect her from harm. I am here to love her. I am just here for her."

Richard Poon also revealed that he is willing to marry Maricar Reyes.

"Pag sinagot na niya ako. I may say that she might just be the woman for me. I want to spend the rest of my life with her. If she's willing, I will marry her," he said.

I wonder if there is still a city in the Philippines with no infamous video of this kind. (Ilo-ilo Scandal, Davao Scandal, Cagayan de Oro Scandal, Baguio Scandal, Batangas Scandal – just can’t name them all.)

How about a university? (La Salle Scandal, XU Scandal, Adamson Scandal, Ateneo de Davao Scandal, etc. etc. and even a High School in Davao has one!)

What about a famous local female celebrity? For sure there is one video coined to her name – real or not. (Angel Locsin, Katrina Halili, Maricar Reyes, Ruffa Mae Quinto, Ethel Booba, Maui Taylor to name a few.)

Hmmm... A hotel? Government Agencies? Banks? Malls?

With the advent of technology, video recording intimate encounters seems to be very easy nowadays. There would be nothing wrong about it I guess for as long as it is going to be of personal use. But often they were not intended for it. Some use it to brag to their friends or simply to exploit the woman. Technology also made these videos spread faster with internet uploading and other ways of file sharing. In fact, the keyword ‘Pinay Scandal’ is said to be one of the top keywords being searched in the Philippines since 2005. Google Trends also revealed that most searches for “Pinay Scandal” came from Cagayan De Oro with Makati and Manila following.

This is obviously immorality and this has to end. I hope our legislatures would come up with the law they promised soon. What a shame that the country is a well-known Christian Nation and yet all these things are happening.
