Fans like Simon Atkins for Kim Chiu

A month ago, Noypistuff asked Kim Chiu's fans whether they like hoopster Simon Atkins for the young actress.

A total of 1266 votes were casted and 59% (750 votes) of those favor Kimon/Chukins romance. However a big number (516 votes or 41% of the total turnout) still want Kim Chui for Gerald Anderson. This only means that many are still hoping that Kim and Gerald would give their romance a second chance.

An anonymous visitor commented:

"I KNOW KIM AND GERALD ARE MEANT FOR EACH OTHER, KAYA NGA PINAGTAGPO SILA NG TADHANA SA PBB EH!"

Kim Chiu, Simon Atkins Romance | Poll: Do you like Simon for Kim?

I am smelling a new romance flourishing between UAAP basketball player Simon Atkins and actress Kim Chiu. It started when Simon asked his friend former PBB Teen housemate Josef Elizalde via Twitter to introduce him to Kim. They finally were able to talk on the phone and Kim seemed to like Simon also.

Simon Atkins talks to Kim Chu over the phone - romance in the making?

It all started when UAAP basketball player-model Simon Atkins (@7SimonAtkins) asked his friend Pinoy Big Brother Teen Ex-housemante Josef Elizalde (@josefelizalde) through Twitter to introduce him to young actress Kim Chiu.

"@josefelizalde pssst Kim Chiu! pakilala mo ako ha" Simon tweeted.


On SNN, Kim Chiu admitted that she spoke with Simon Atkins over the phone already.

“Simon Atkins, actually hindi ko siya kilala, naririnig ko lang, hindi ko pa siya nakikilala pero nag-usap na kami. Kasi ‘yong isang friend niya pinakausap sa akin,” Kim said.

Kim also added that she got curious after it was reported that the Green Archers' captain wanted to meet her. She revealed that she put an effort to search his name on the Internet.

"Hindi ko talaga alam. Sinearch ko lang siya sa Google.Okay naman siya. Basketbolista naman siya. 'Yon, thank you kung gusto niya ako makilala," Kim shared.

When asked on how the phone conversation went, Kim said,

"Sandali lang, e, kasi nga may ginagawa nga ako. E, bakit ko siya kakausapin, hindi ko nga siya kakilala? Gusto niya raw ako makausap, so 'yon."

Would she agree to go out on a date with him? “Hindi ko pa alam, depende, depende.” according to the actress.

Doe she like him? "Yes naman, 'no!", Kim said.

Will she will end up being Atkins’ girlfriend in the future?

“Hindi ko alam. ‘Yung pagmamahal, ‘yung boyfriend darating at darating din ‘yan, eh. Hindi naman hinahanap ‘yan. Darating nang kusa ‘yan nang hindi mo alam.”

Star Magic Confirms Receiving Death Threats Against Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson

In an ABS-CBN report, Star Magic confirms receiving numerous emails containing death threats against talents, Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo. The families of the two celebrities are also said to be targets of the threats as well as some Star Magic executives and personnel. These emails are said to have originated from fans and already sent to proper authorities for identification and possible prosecution.

In Gerald Anderson's emotional outburst during the press conference of his movie ('Till my Heartaches End) with Kim Chu, he disclosed, "Marami po akong natatanggap na hate mails kahit sa bahay ko. Ang mga mahal ko sa buhay ko ay nadadamay."

He added: "Kasi kung ako lang, kaya kong tanggapin ito, kaya kong tiisin ang lahat ng nangyayari sa akin, pero iba na kung idinadamay ang pamilya mo. Iba na kung isang araw, may tumawag sa akin at sasabihin ay papatayin daw niya ang anak niya."

Gerald then went out from the conference and failed to comeback because of hyperventilation. The actor was checked by medics, and is now in stable condition.

Gerald Anderson Cries, Walks Out During 'Till I Met You' PressCon

During the press conference for their new movie 'Till I Met You held on October 12, 2010 at the Dolphy Theater in ABS-CBN, Gerald Anderson was asked whether he ever asked Kim Chu if she loves him still. Gerald started to break down saying, "Sa loob ng 4 years, opo, nagkaroon kami ng special relationship. We shared very happy moments together. We cared for each other, at times, syempre we hurt each other, mas madalas, ako. Pero masakit kasi. Ang masakit don ay ang dami kong binigay sa kanyang problema at heartaches. Pero tinanggap nya pa rin ako."

It got Kim crying also and was left to answer the rest of the press' questions since Gerald walked out. She then asked their fans to accept what is happening in their personal lives and to stop threatening Gerald and rumored girlfriend Bea Alonzo. "May naririnig akong papatayin si Bea. Tatapunan ng asido. Papatayin si Gerald...Sana tanggapin nyo na kung anuman 'yung nangyari and sana, maging masaya tayo. Kung anuman ang nangyayari ngayon, sana ang tanggapin nyo na at maintindihan nila na may personal din akong buhay."

Kim also went out and left. It was made known that both experienced hyperventilation and had to be attended by the medics making them not to finish the presscon.

Kim Chu and Gerald Anderson Topbill ''Till My Heartaches End' Movie

One of the hottest love teams in Philippine Showbiz right now, Kim Chu and Gerald Anderson will lead the casts of an upcoming romantic movie entitled, 'Till my Heartaches End. Previously reported as Star Cinema's Valentine offering for 2011, the movie is set to be shown in movie theaters nationwide on October 27,2010 taking the spot of the interrupted movie of Robin Padilla and Toni Gonzaga.

'Till My Heartache Ends is directed by Jose Javier Reyes and has the plot below:

Paolo “Powie” Barredo (Gerald Anderson) is out to prove to the world that he is not just a son out of wedlock, but that he can succeed in life independently. Though he started out roughly, he soon picked up pace and climbed the ladder of success. But as things started falling into place, other important things in his life had to take a backseat as he experienced the thrill of finally achieving his goal.

Agnes Garcia (Kim Chiu) has always longed for the time when her family will finally be complete again. At the young age of 6, her parents left the country to work abroad – her mother was a medical technician in America, while her father worked as an engineer n Riyadh. Despite the distance, Agnes held tight to the inevitability that she will reunite with her parents once again when she passes the nursing exam and applies to work in the States.

The moment these two saw each other at the café, they couldn’t take their eyes off each other. Their attraction was apparent and it seemed that destiny brought them together. As they got to know the other better, they found solace and comfort in each other’s company. But the security they found in each other soon started to shake when their different life paths take them to different directions. Despite the love they both still have for each other, one must choose to decide when to let go, even if the other is still holding on.
