Meaghan Martin Didn't Go To Prom

Meaghan Martin fully admits that she missed out on her prom to our friends at Teen.com.
The 19-year-old actress explains, “I went to a charter school the last two years of my high school and even though they did have a prom, I didn’t go. I just thought it would be kind of awkward — I didn’t know the majority of my fellow students.”
Meaghan also dished on what she would wear to the infamous high school ritual dance: “I’m really into the Grecian style, one-shoulder dresses. Even though I’m too old for prom, that’s what I would go with.”
Who else could see Meaghan as a prom queen?

The quirky teen enrolls in his school to win him back, but ends up making matters worse. Downgraded to social outcast, Vanessa struggles to reclaim Phillip’s affection.
Luckily, when Vanessa is declared a captain for the school’s Snowstorm Survivor competition, she assembles a team of likeminded misfits to prove they deserve to compete and hopefully win her love’s heart again.

Meaghan Martin: Powder-Puff Football was Intense!

Meaghan Martin stars as lead anti-plastic Jo in tomorrow’s Mean Girls 2 and JJJ got the scoop on one of the coolest scenes in the movie — the football scene!

The 19-year-old actress told us, “The infamous football scene. We play a game of powder puff football. The anti-plastics challenge the plastics. It was shot over a two-day period, our last two days of filming. Spending two days filming something when you only have 20 days to film the entire thing obviously means it’s a big portion of the film. It was hot; it was intense. I am not incredibly athletic. So, I was a little bit nervous about it, but we did it.”

Meaghan continued, “We played a full on football game pretty much. We were throwing; we were running; we were attacking; we were tackling. I got to do a tackling stunt, which was awesome. It was so much fun. I tackled Maiara Walsh, as Mandi. So, I’m very nervous and very excited to watch it and see how it turns out. Hopefully, I don’t make too big of a fool out of myself.”

Don’t worry Meaghan – you didn’t!
