Jesse McCartney pulls the door close on the cameras as he leaves Boa restaurant in Beverly Hills on Monday night (March 14).
The 23-year-old musician recently chatted with MFC about looking around for a new piano to celebrate his new album. “I haven’t found one yet though,” Jesse shared.
He continued, “I used to take lessons when I was younger and want to take some more, actually. I know enough here and there but I really want to zero in on my songs and learn a few of my own, so when I do go out on tour and perform these songs, I can hopefully play some stuff.”

It was announced earlier this year that Jesse McCartney would be returning to TV in the adaption of Locke & Key and while some fans of the comic book series are still a bit iffy, creators Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez are telling you not to worry.
Check out what they had to share with MTV about the 23-year-old casting of Tyler:
Joe Hill: “Initially, I had my doubts, not knowing anything about him except that he had a music career. My concern only lasted until I saw him work, though. I watched him perform a couple scenes and was not just impressed, but kind of rattled by how well he brings off Tyler. Jesse has depth and gravity and a kind of sweet, bruised innocence that really captures what I was after in the character. With the camera off, he’s an un-showy, hard-working kid who wants to do the right thing — which is also kind of like Tyler. I think we’re lucky to have him.”
Gabriel Rodriguez: “Well, I certainly had a different approach to this subject, as all I knew about Jesse when he was announced in the cast, was his guest appearance in an episode of Law & Order: SVU. I saw that episode, in which he had a very intense role, so I know the guy can perform. And seeing him acting on our set visit was almost disturbing. The guy is Tyler. He can embrace the awkward mix of being strong and fragile at the same time. He’s very much into who the character is, and really focused on doing his best.”

Looks like Raven Symone isn’t the only one returning to television — Jesse McCartney is too!
The 23-year-old musician has been cast as Tyler Locke in FOX’s drama pilot Locke & Key, Deadline reports.
Based on Joe Hill’s comic of the same name, the drama centers on Nina Locke (Miranda Otto) and her three children, Tyler (McCartney), Kinsey (Sarah Bolger), and Bode (Skylar Gaertner) who, after the brutal murder of Nina’s husband Rendell Locke, return to Keyhouse, his old family home in Massachusetts.
There, they are pestered by an evil entity that’s determined to hold the family hostage one way or another until it gets what it wants.
In the series, Jesse will also have a chance to show off his musical talents. According to the character description, Ty was the closest with his dad isolates himself a bit by retreating into his music.
