Huge congratulations to Chris Tavarez!
The 19-year-old Avalon High star just signed on the dotted line to play football with Duke University!
Chris tells mharb, “It’s been a long process and a hard decision, but Duke is the best fit for me. I love the university, I love the program and I love the coaches. I look forward to making a positive impact next season.”
Chris was also tapped to play for Harvard, Princeton and Vanderbilt, but ultimately chose Duke. He plays Strong Safety and will be an incredible boost to Duke’s defense.
