~ uptown girl ~

In early fall, when you can feel it just in the air and with pitch-dark mornings we just cant let go so easy summer, but love start to play with fall colours and mix the textures. So one of these days I came up with this uptown girl look, which I love, but not always dare to wear. I think fall is great for this look.

All day was warm and running clouds threaten rain. I knew it will eventually gone rain, but most of all I was afraid of wind who would play with my short skirt. I felt girly, free, coquette and classy. I felt so amazing that rain & wind wasn’t fret anymore. Knee-high socks and stripe pleated Vila skirt made me feel like school girl so for complete look I wore white top and black wool Noname two button cloak. I can't stop wearing my super comfy and super gorgeous Primark ankle boots. My purple chain cover frame cross body bag is from Accessorize, which I bought on sale two years ago.

Blair Waldorf is the main character of the Gossip Girl book series who also appears in the television adaptation of the same name. Cecily von Ziegesar, author of the novels, has labeled the character her most complex figure. Producers of the television series have called Blair the queen at the center of their chess game. She is the most critically acclaimed character of both Gossip Girl incarnations, while the television character, played by Leighton Meester, has also received real-life media attention for her popular wardrobe.

A privileged young woman born to high society, Blair is presented as the beautiful queen bee of Manhattan's social scene. Due to her status on the Upper East Side, Blair's actions and relations are under constant scrutiny from the mysterious Gossip Girl, a popular anonymousblogger.

Blair has been compared to vintage film and literary figures, including Becky Sharp and Lizzie Eustace. Meester's portrayal of the character has also drawn comparisons to roles played by Joan Collins and Audrey Hepburn.

Charlotte York Goldenblatt is a fictional character on the HBO-produced television series Sex and the City. Charlotte is viewed by some to be the most naive of the four characters, often showing signs of belief in the old-fashioned, "love conquers all" notion. This type of outlook has even earned her the nickname "Park Avenue Pollyanna," coined by Carrie Bradshaw in narrations. Yet, her friends are sometimes envious and even in awe of her overall optimisim on love and life, leading Carrie to dedicate her book to Charlotte. Charlotte also possesses a soft personality towards her friends, always "being there" for them. Due to her conservative outlook however she sometimes clashes with the sexually liberal Samantha once asking "Is your vagina in the New York City guide books? Because it should be; it's the hottest spot in town, it's always open!" yet in this instance she resolves the situation by baking Samantha a basket of muffins, demonstrating Charlotte's classic graceful and sweet-natured style. She is also fiercely loyal to her friends ('cursing' Mr. Big after he abandons Carrie at the altar in the first film) and to her beliefs in the sanctity of marriage (she is the only friend to chastise and shame Carrie regarding her adulterous affair with Mr. Big). It is revealed throughout the series that Charlotte enjoyed various degrees of status in her younger life, such as being prom queen, a varsity cheerleader, track and field captain, teen model, and equestrienne. She is occasionally described as a WASP, an identity she seems to happily accept. However, Charlotte later converted to Judaism. Charlotte is a sorority member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.

These two ladies are my ultimate uptown girls (:
