Fashion Gives BACK!!

Images: Bloomingdales

Attention all you Handbag Addicts!!!

Inspired by their Fashion Gives Back project, Glamour editors asked six talented designers to create an exclusive design on a simple canvas tote bag and I must say, they’re quite fantastic!

The designers chosen for this special project were Jason Wu (you may know him by that incredible outfits he designed for the First Lady), Brian Reyes, Abigal Lorick (she’s behind the “Eleanor Waldorf Collection” on Gossip Girl!), Bensoni, Alejandro Ingelmo, and Pamela Love. As you can see, there’s one missing, the tote bag designed by Alejandro Ingelmo has already sold out! If that’s not a sign to pick these up ASAP then I don’t know what is.

When you purchase one of these bags (they’re only $35 each!), 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Dress for Success which is a charity that helps women who are out of work get a jump start on their careers by providing suits and career skills. This is such a stylish way to get yourself or someone you love a fun bag and help out others at the same time.

You can purchase the Glamour Fashion Gives Back totes exclusively at Bloomingdales stores and online.

It’s always great to see a big brand give back, and Jimmy Choo is doing exactly that with its new limited edition collection in partnership with the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The line, named Project PEP, will send 25% of its proceeds to help fund South Africa’s Simelela Rape Center. The center is often instrumental in administering patients the preventative medicine that lessens the likelihood that a victim will contract HIV from her attacker, as well as providing psychological services after the fact.

The collection itself will feature the collage-like pattern that you see here as a representation of some of the iconic elements that make Jimmy Choo all that it is today.

This Funky Collage will be printed on Bags to flip flops and clutches.... Prices will range from around $100 for flip-flops to almost $1000 for a large bag.

Now this is money you can feel good spending ;))
