time won't let me go

I haven't had much time for this blog lately as the new semester just started at uni and I also had lots of personal projects like painting my walls going on. I haven't yet caught up with all the fashion shows from NY let alone the new ones from London but I'm really looking forward to doing to soon. But first of all I got some exciting news to share: I'm going to London this weekend and I'm even going to attend fashion week for a bit on sunday thanks to my lovely sister! I'm really excited and will take tons of pictures.

Since I didn't really have time to take outfit pictures recently I'm leaving you with some from Sweden this summer:

Sorry, for the long absence. My vacation in the south of Sweden was a little busier and internet-free as I had expected but nonetheless wonderful. We took millions of pictures and I also did quite a bit of shopping which I can't wait to show you guys. But for now I'm leaving you with this wonderful picture of Mary Kate as I go and catch up with all the lovely blogs out there. I will post some pictures this weekendm promise!

hit the road

Today I'm leaving for a road trip up to Scandinvia with my friends. Sorry for the lack of updates lately but I've been so busy planning and preparing everything that this blog didn't get all that much attention lately. I'm planning to do a few updates on the road so keep on checking back.

Our route is the following: Zurich - Luxembourg - Antwerp - Amsterdam - Kopenhagen - Malmö and then we're camping somewhere in the south of Sweden <3

I'm obsessed with breakfast. My current favorite is rolled oats with milk and maple sirup topped with pecan nuts and fruit (today: strawberries and pinapple). And of course my obligatory glass of orange & carrot juice ♥

I'm leaving for a short vacation in Madrid with my sisters today so I need to go packing now. =P

The days are getting shorter and I am getting busyier and busyier with school. Unfortunately I couldn't find the time to take a proper outfit picture so I'm leaving you with some crappy webcam pics - excuse me >.<

last working day

Today was my last working day. Wow.

I'm going to start my bachelor studies in September, this will be a whole new life for me. I've been working in a big bank for 6 years now and I find it unbelievably relieving to be escaping the "adult world".

I liked my job and my colleagues and of course I loved getting a paycheck every month but I am so excited to live a student life surrounded by people my age who want to have fun, go on adventures and simply enjoy life. This is an aspect that is often forgotten in the "adult world" of working =P People are so focused on their work, their career and goals that they forget to have fun.

So now I am really looking forward to what lies ahead of me, I'm thrilled and also a little scared but it's going to be great.

Before the semester starts in September I'm going be relaxing at home for 6 weeks. I will use this time for some personal projects like getting a tan, cleaning out my wardrobe, changing the layout/design of my blog, paint my wall, wearing all the unworn clothes in my closet, go swimming at least twice a week, learning to play my guitar properly, setting up an online store to sell some things, reading all of the 6 books I bought...haha I guess I'm lucky if I even manage to do half of the things I just listed =P.

I missed my lunch-time pilates class today 'cuz I had to meet a deadline at work...hate that. And now I'm sitting here, dreaming of Paris..where I'll hopefully be this August. I'm only working until the end of July and I'm starting Uni in September...that leaves August for travelling (and preparing for my studies >.<)! So the plan is going to Paris for a week or so. By train it only takes 4h from here so now I only have to find a cheap train ticket and a nice hotel and I'm all set.
