Janelle Ortiz keeps it cute in a Forever 21 jumper as she arrives at the Mars Needs Moms held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday afternoon (March 6). The 17-year-old actress, who completed her outfit with Aldo heels, is dishing out prom advice as her Promcharacter, Ali Gomez. Ali tweeted on Twitter, “Daily #Prom Tip: Allow at least a half-hour for your parents to take photos. Seriously, they’re probably going to go crazy.” Of course, MFC loves this one: “A thoughtful #Prom ask is better than a casual one…this is #PROM, not pizza after school!” Good advice!
Janelle Ortiz steps out in style at the Love is Louder tee shirt launch held at Rock & Republic in Los Angeles earlier last week. The up-and-coming actress stars as Ali Gomez in Disney’s Prom. Ali is one of MFC’s favorite characters because she’s nosy…and when we say nosy, we mean sticking her nose in everyone’s business nosy. As Nova’s (Aimee Teegarden) best friend, Ali is a bundle of energy and takes her gossip seriously — which is why she’s determined to find out if Rolo (Joe Adler) is telling the truth about having a girlfriend. Janelle Ortiz edges up the red carpet in a Dream Culture dress at the premiere of Waiting For Forever held at The Grove’s Pacific Theatres in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (February 1). The Prom actress completed her look with black, strappy Steve Madden heels and a studded Aldo clutch. Waiting For Forever, starring Rachel Bilson and Tom Sturridge, opens in theaters THIS Friday, February 4th.
